March 28th - International Women in Music Day was declared as part
of the Uniting The Nations Weekend in Birmngham- England - March 2008. Launched from the '100 Years of Female Recognition'
program, the day became a celebration of support for women and the work of progressive development.
A day of celebration, International Women in Music
DAY is a time when all females involved and working in the music industry can come together and be counted for their years
of hard work and determination. From receptionist to roadie, it is a day when all females can put aside their differences to
join together regardless of genre, color, creed or religious belief. Be recognised for their worth in the industry
and help pave the way for generations to come.
